Points covered in the previous session should be reviewed to ensure that the user has grasped the topics covered clearly.
In this case, the review can be performed by checking the new PLU's that the user has entered in the 'homework" assignment and their
setup of the additional touch buttons on the POS display.
If this work has not been completed, then this session should be rescheduled to take place after this 'homework" has been completed, because this session builds on what was covered previously.
Questions noted by the trainee should be reviewed, and if relevant to what has been covered should be addressed. If the user asks questions which require knowledge of other topics that have not yet been covered, they should be shown the training schedule so that the can see when their question is scheduled to be covered.
Operation of the "Shift Display" input type should be shown, along with setting up this functionality in the touch buttons.
Creation of new screens by copying existing screens should be explained and practiced.
Editing and creating Finalisations and Adjustments in Control should be explained, and setting up Touch Buttons to perform these functions in POS should be covered.
Accessing the Online Documentation at http://himatix.com should be covered and an introduction to the Forum should be made to encourage its use.
When this session finishes, a review of the topics covered should be made, and the "homework" assignment for the user is to enter all the remaining PLU's, and setup all remaining display screens.
Finally they should be asked to prepare a list of questions, and a time scheduled for the follow up training session, which should not be scheduled until all the remaining data entry has been completed, or the user encounters a problem.
